- Point Amour Lighthouse, the tallest in Atlantic Canada, is just 1 km from Lighthouse Cove Bed & Breakfast.
- The Bakeapple Folk Festival, one of the largest and longest running festivals in the province, takes place in mid-august at L'Anse au Loup.
- The Maritime Archaic Burial Mound at L'Anse Amour is the oldest funeral monument in the New World.
- Site of many shipwrecks including the H.M.S. Raleigh in 1922. Piano and chairs from the ship are a part of the furniture at Lighthouse Cove Bed & Breakfast.
